Frequently Asked Questions
Do you still offer one-on-one or private sessions?
At this time, I focus entirely on group classes and guided programs.
Over the years, I’ve seen that classes help most people stay consistent—and consistency is what creates real, lasting change. Having a set time, clear guidance, and a supportive group makes it easier to keep moving week after week.
If you’re looking for individualized, one-on-one support, I’m happy to refer you to trusted mentors and colleagues who work privately via Zoom.

I’m new—are these classes right for me?
These classes are designed for people who want to move better in daily life—whether you’re stiff, cautious, returning after time off, or simply unsure where to begin.
You don’t need to be athletic or experienced. Movements are taught with options so you can work at your own pace and within your comfort level. Many people start because they feel unsteady, tight, or unsure how to move safely—and stay because they feel better, steadier, and more confident over time.
I have pain, balance issues, or past injuries—can I still come?
Yes. Many students come with pain, stiffness, balance concerns, or a history of injury or surgery.
Classes are taught with options so you can move safely and comfortably. You’re always encouraged to work within your own range and take breaks as needed.
If you’re unsure, you’re welcome to reach out before your first class.
I’ve had a hip replacement, back surgery, or other injuries. Is this for me?
Many students come to class after joint replacements, back surgery, or years of managing pain and limitation.
These classes are not medical treatment, but they are thoughtfully taught with safety, alignment, and awareness in mind. You’re always encouraged to listen to your body, choose what feels right, and take breaks as needed.
If you’ve been cleared for general movement by your healthcare provider and you’re willing to move gently and attentively, these classes can be very supportive.
If you’re unsure, you’re welcome to reach out before your first class.
I have trouble getting on and off the floor. Can I still participate?
Yes—if you’re willing to practice.
Many people begin with difficulty getting up and down from the floor. Improving this is actually one of the most valuable skills these classes help develop.
You’ll be guided in safe, gradual ways to move toward the floor and back up again. Over time, most students become noticeably more capable and confident with this—often surprising themselves.
You are never rushed, and there is no expectation to move quickly or “keep up.” Progress comes from consistent, patient practice.
What are the classes like?
Classes are small, welcoming, and thoughtfully taught.
You’ll be guided through simple, effective movements that support:
Balance
Posture
Mobility
Everyday movement
There’s no pressure to “perform” or keep up. You’re encouraged to listen to your body and choose what feels right for you.
Classes are offered both in person and on Zoom.
What’s the difference between classes and the membership?
Classes are live and guided—in person or on Zoom—so you receive real-time instruction, support, and accountability.
The membership gives you access to 20+ recorded sessions you can do on your own schedule. It’s a great option if you can’t attend live classes, or as a complement to what you learn in class.
Most people get the best results by attending classes and using the membership for extra practice at home.
How often should I attend?
Classes are offered in quarterly sessions, and when you sign up, you’re reserving a place in that class for the full session.
Ideally, you’ll attend every week. The more consistently you come, the more your body benefits and the easier movement becomes.
That said, life happens. Most people miss a class now and then, and that’s completely okay. What matters is returning and staying engaged over time. Even with a few missed weeks, people continue to feel and see meaningful changes.
Consistency over the long arc—not perfection—is what makes the difference.
How do I get started?
Begin by viewing the current schedule and choosing a class that fits your life.
Some people start with just one class a week. Others choose to take two—such as both Functional Motion classes, or one of each style—to support overall movement, balance, strength, and well-being.
There’s no single “right” way to begin. You can start simply and add more as you discover what feels best for your body and your schedule.
