I love these shoes!
I think everyone…okay almost everyone…should own and wear Xero shoes. They are the most comfortable & healing shoes I’ve ever worn. My feet feel better, my hips feel better. My feet are stronger and now doing the work they were created to do. We aren’t meant to support our feet, we are meant to use them and strengthen them like any other part of our body. For example, can I strengthen my bicep by tying my arm into a bicep curl all day? Nope. Nor can I strengthen my feet with super supportive cushiony shoes or orthotics. So, check out these shoes and help your feet and the rest of your body.
Vita Senior Living, Littleton
I’ve been teaching Functional Motion classes at Vita and fell in love with their staff and residents! What a great place to live with a great group of amazing people!
Vita Littleton invites you to connect with a senior apartment community unlike any other. Celebrate a pedestrian-friendly lifestyle, unparalleled amenities, on-site neighborhood eatery, and historic Main Street―all steps from the RTD Light Rail station with easy access to the greater Denver area. Our one and two bedroom apartments feature designer finishes, energy efficient appliances and private balconies or patios that make the most of city and mountain views.
Toe Socks
Your feet are foundational to your body! The muscles of the feet need exercise and stretching and ToeSox are a great way to start giving your toes the room they need to move individually. I only wear toe socks these days. Many of my clients, especially those with plantar fasciitis, have definitely benefited from these socks. Here are a few links to my favorite toe socks brands. The Original Foot Alignment socks are great for around the house to really give your toes a great stretch. The Injinji & ToeSox brands are great for everyday wear and working out and come in all sizes and colors!

The Bungee Chair *No Arms*
As a postural therapist I don't usually recommend "healthy back chairs". However, I LOVE the Container Store's Bungee chair...the one WITHOUT ARM RESTS. It's comfortable and has great lumbar support without over supporting the back. I now have 2 in my office and anyone who sits in it immediately tells me how much they love it. I used to work at The Container Store, but I think I have "sold" more of these chairs as a postural therapist than I ever did working at the store. Go visit The Container Store and Park Meadows and try one out!
Pain Free Book by Pete Egoscue
A neighbor loaned me this book when she heard I’d suffered from chronic pain for over 2 years. I’d tried multiple modalities to find relief and healing from my pain and could only get a couple hours of relief. The exercises in the book definitely helped, though I wasn’t getting full healing. I finally trekked to and Egoscue practitioner for 12 weeks and got a lot better….so much so that I decided to get trained and become an Certified Egoscue Affiliate. Read the book & come see me if you need more help.
